Dog-Napped Pup Returned To Rightful, Thankful Owners

UPDATE: VERMILION, OH (WOIO) - A happy reunion for a Vermilion family.

A beloved family pet snatched from the back of her owner's pick-up truck has been returned to her frantic family.

Some soulless creeps took the yellow lab out of the truck while it was parked at Quaker Steak & Lube Friday night.

The owner ran into the restaurant to drop something off and when he returned, five minutes later, his truck was entered and Lilly the lab was gone.

A $1000 reward was on the table for anyone who could bring Lilly home safely.

Lilly was found at a residence in Amherst. The people who had her say they found Lilly running around in the parking lot.

There have been no arrests at this time.
