High Speed Chase Ends In Police Struggle Amid Heavy Traffic

AKRON, OH (WOIO) - An Akron man cuffed and stuffed after a high speed chase in the city.

Andrew T. Pennington was observed fleeing from officers on a motorcycle at a high rate of speed, running red lights and crossing the double yellow line on Arlington Street.

The 20-year-old fled from the motorcycle at Arlington & Waterloo and was apprehended in the middle of the intersection in heavy traffic. Andrew struggled with officer during his arrest. The motorcycle had a stolen license plate sticker on it. The sticker was stolen from the bus belonging to Midway Lanes Bowling Alley.

Pennington charged with willful flee, obstructing official business, resisting arrest and receiving stolen property.
