PARMA, OH (WOIO) - Olmsted Township Police Chief, Charles McNeely, was sentenced in court Monday for public indecency.

Charles McNeeley was handed 30-days in jail; however, the judge suspended 29-days and he was given credit for the one day he already served.

McNeely also can't go to the MetroParks for 3-years, he must see a psychologist and was given a 500-dollar fine. The judge suspended 300 dollars of the fine.

McNeeley apologized in court for his April 28th arrest involving lewd behavior in the Brooklyn MetroParks.

A ranger said she spotted McNeeley and another man engaged in sexual activity in a parked car.
