Weeded Out: Police Smoke Out North Canton Pot Growing Operation

NORTH CANTON, OH (WOIO) - A big time pot operation smoked out in North Canton.

The Jackson Township Police launched a joint investigation with the North Canton Police Department Detective Bureaus and raided a home on Morello Avenue SW Thursday night.

Detectives recovered a marijuana grow operation. Items seized from inside the residence include 84 marijuana plants and a number of lights used to grow the pot plants.

This joint investigation continues and criminal charges are pending.
