Akron, OH (WOIO) - A former Petland employee charged with animal cruelty has been sentenced to probation.
In addition to probation, Liz Carlisle was slapped with a $250 fine and 120 hours community service.
The 20-year old Ravenna woman was thrust into the spotlight when she posted a picture of herself on Facebook holding two dead rabbits.
Carlise, who received numerous death threats from animal lovers, could have received 180 days in jail.
