On the Run: Akron Man Wanted In Fatal Stabbing

AKRON, OH (WOIO) - Akron detectives are investigating a fatal stabbing.

Violence broke out in the 1100 block of Keys Place around 10:30 Wednesday night. The victim, Michael D. Larue,  was involved in an altercation in the parking lot with William Brandon McDaniel.

During the fight, McDaniel stabbed Larue. The 22-year-old was rushed to Akron City Hospital where he later died. The Summit County Medical Examiner's Office will perform an autopsy tomorrow.

A warrant for murder has been issued for 28-year-old McDaniel. He is a black male, 5'9" tall and weighs 155 lbs.

Detectives are asking for help locating William McDaniel. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact the Akron Police Department immediately.
