CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Shaquille O'Neal proving he is a big man on and off the basketball court.
Nearly one week after handing out toys and food to the needy, he's doing another extraordinary good deed.
According to a North Carolina newspaper, the NBA superstar paid for the slain 5-year-old North Carolina child's funeral.
Little Shaniya Davis was found dead in a field after a frantic manhunt for her. The 5-year-old's body after her mother allegedly sold her into child prostitution.
The paper claims Shaq does not want any publicity for his act of kindness. Shaniya's story saddened the superstar and he wanted to help her family.
