AKRON, OH (WOIO) - A store owner and his wife injured after gunfire erupted inside their Akron convenience store.
66-year-old Mahd Almahmoud and his wife, 51-year-old Regina, were both working at the Lakeshore Carryout when the masked suspect barged in and opened fire.
The gunman hit the Almahmoud's in their legs before fleeing the store.
The victims were transported to Akron General Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries. Regina has already been treated and released.
The suspect is a black male wearing a black ski mask, grey coat and grey sweatpants.
