Health Alert: Listeria Infected Meat found at Local Head Start

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Its another 19 Action News Health Alert for parents and children in three local head start programs.

Meat potentially contaminated with the listeria bacteria may have been served to the children.

Tom Paige Catering delivered the meat to three programs:

St. Ignatius on Lorain
St. Martin Deporres on East 123rd
Our Lady of Good Counsel on Pearl Rd.

Symptoms of listeria are very similar to symptoms of the flu.

Luckily, so far no students have reported any signs of illness.
