CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - The heat was definitely on a Miami fan at the Indians game Wednesday night.
A man wearing a Lebron James Miami jersey was forced to leave the Indians game after becoming a target of angry fans.
Matt Bellamy - seen brazenly sporting his new #6 Heat jersey - and his girlfriend received a less than warm welcome during the Tribe-Yankees game.
Angry Cleveland fans booed him and by the 5th inning, began hurling cups and snacks at the guy.
He says his girlfriend was even hit in the eye with a peanut.
Police intervened and ended up escorting the couple out of the bleacher section. Cleveland fans roared with cheers and applause at the sight.
Matt says he has all three versions of the new Miami Lebron jersey and he says he'll continue to wear them all.
