
Cleveland, OH - A 4-year-old girl was left in the back seat of a suspect's car after a police chase Tuesday evening.
The chase started around 10:30PM Tuesday at W. 38th Street and Storer Avenue when Cleveland Police in their car observed a man shoot a gun from his vehicle into another vehicle.
Both cars took off and Cleveland Police followed.
The chase ended at W. 7th and Jefferson in Tremont when the suspect bailed from the car and took off on foot running into a nearby house.
Police gave chase and quickly arrested the suspect.
The suspect had tossed the gun as he fled but police were able to recover it.
Police took the little girl to MetroHealth Medical Center to be looked over but she didn't appear to have any injuries.
Police are trying to locate the child's mother.
The suspect was arrested for the felonious assault shooting and additional charges related to the chase are expected.
