AMHERST TOWNSHIP, OH (WOIO) - A not-so tech savvy woman is busted after trying to frame her nemesis through a fake MySpace account.
Police say Megan Spurlock sent herself a threatening message on her home computer after her friend created an account in the name of Meaghan Deal.
When pressed by police, the 20-year-old admitted to the scheme to get Deal into further trouble. Deal is not to have any contact with Spurlock after being charged with telephone harassment in the fall.
The 20-year-old pleaded innocent to identity fraud, obstructing official business and falsification in court on Tuesday.
She's slated for a preliminary hearing the morning of January 12th.
