UPDATE: CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - New developments in the ongoing Cuyahoga County corruption probe.

Nicholas Zavarella pleaded guilty to conspiracy in court on Wednesday.

Zavarella - the owner of a masonry company in Bedford Heights - is accused of doing $28,000 worth of free work at County Commissioner Jimmy Dimora's house.

In exchange, Dimora allegedly wrote letters to help Zavarella daughter get a teaching job at Bedford High School.

Zavarella could face 24 months in jail, but like the others charged in the scandal, he won't be sentenced until after the investigation is over and after the feds have squeezed as much information as possible out of him. It he give them a lot, that could mean as little as an 8 month sentence.
