Postal: Armed Robber Holds Up Akron Mail Man

Akron, OH - Detectives from the Akron Police Department and Inspectors from the US Postal Inspection Service are investigating a robbery of a US Postal Service carrier.
The robbery happened around 11:30 a.m. Friday near the intersection of Noble Avenue and Stadelman Avenue.
The mail carrier reported that the suspect approached him, pulled out a gun, and demanded mail. The suspect then fled with an undetermined amount of mail. The mail carrier was not injured.
The suspect was described as a black male 30 - 40 years old. He is between 5'07"- 5'08" tall and weighs between 125 - 150 lbs. He was wearing light colored sunglasses, a black or brown leather coat, black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and a dark colored baseball hat.
