AURORA, OH (WOIO) -

A 27-year-old woman slapped with charges after assaulting an autistic child at a water park.

It happened around 7PM on August 2nd at Wildwater Kingdom in Aurora.

Alisha Schlagenhauser was drunk when a number of water park visitors observed her hit and yell at the 4-year-old boy she was babysitting. Schlagenhauser was also seen dragging the little boy by his harness, causing the child injury.

The woman was caring for not only the special needs child, but his seven-year-old brother and two other kids when the abuse occurred.

Schlagenhauser admitted to downing tequila and beer at the water park. Cops found weed and a pipe in her purse, too.

She was slapped with a number of charges, including child endangering, drug possession and assault.
