Eastlake Police investigate Fatal Attraction

EASTLAKE, OH (WOIO) -

Eastlake Police are investigating a case of fatal attraction that came to a head Wednesday night on Vine Street.

Police tell 19 Action News Howard Tichenor went to the home of a woman he was stalking and attacked her boyfriend, beating him with a gun.

The female came to her boyfirends aid, restrained Tichenor by the neck with her foot until police arrived.

Tichenor was rushed to the hospital where he was prounced dead.

No charges have been filed, police are waiting for the coroners report which will determine how Tichenor died.

    Sentencing is set for this afternoon for Zachary Brody. The 27-year-old Bowling Green man has already pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter and tampering with evidence in the death of Phil Masterson.
    Zachary Brody has been sentenced to 16 years behind bars.

    The 27-year-old Bowling Green man received the maximum sentence for killing Phil Masterson of Westlake.
