The Cleveland Foodbank does not provide direct aid, but rather works in cooperation with a network of community based nonprofit partner agencies that serve individuals and families in need.

United Way's 2-1-1 serves Cuyahoga, Geauga, Medina, Wayne, and Holmes Counties.
2-1-1 is a free community service you can use to get information about social, health and government resources
24 hours a day, every day.

Information provided through 2-1-1 includes such services as:

  • Basic needs such as food, clothing, housing and utility assistance.
  • Health and mental health resources such as Medicaid, Medicare, community clinics, support groups and counseling
  • Work support such as job training and education programs.
  • Supports for older adults and persons with disabilities such as adult day care, Meals on Wheels, home health care and transportation.
  • Youth and family services such as Head Start, recreation programs, parenting help, child support and custody, mentoring and tutoring …and much more, including agencies that accept your donated items

    Sentencing is set for this afternoon for Zachary Brody. The 27-year-old Bowling Green man has already pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter and tampering with evidence in the death of Phil Masterson.
    Zachary Brody has been sentenced to 16 years behind bars.

    The 27-year-old Bowling Green man received the maximum sentence for killing Phil Masterson of Westlake.

    Middleburg Heights Police Officers arrest a 21-year-old man they say led them on a high speed police chase, that ended in a crash. The chase began around 1pm Tuesday, when an officer saw a motorcycle speeding in the high speed lane of I-71.
