Bill Applegate's Editorial Feedback

Posted: Updated:

Every time we air one of our editorials we ask you, the audience, to write and let us know what you think.  And you always do.

I recently talked about that eight-year old being removed from his home because he weighed two hundred pounds.  And boy, did we get a lot of responses.

Rick from Mayfield wrote to say, "I do not believe this is an abuse of power.  This is a wake-up call that ignoring a proper diet is negligence."  But Donna from Brecksville agreed with us. She said, "are you kidding me, the county needs to protect children who are being physically abused instead of removing a child because he is overweight. Child services is out of line."

And, we got a lot of responses about quarterback Tim Tebow.  Cindy from Parma wrote to say, "how refreshing to watch a young man being open about his faith.  I have a lot of respect for him and I am happy to have my children look up to Tim as a role model."   And Sal from Euclid agreed,  "Bill, I appreciate your stand for what is good"  he wrote. "Your comments reflect those of the much too silent majority."  Well thanks, Sal.

And, thanks again for sharing all your opinions with us.  And as always, write and let us know what you think.  I'm Bill Applegate and here's the address.
