One dead after pick up truck, semi collide

ADAMS COUNTY, OH (FOX19) -

A fatal crash shut down SR 32 in Adams County Wednesday morning.

It happened just before 6 a.m. eastbound SR 32 near Portsmouth Road. According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Ronald Lacy, 54, of Amelia was killed when a semi driven by a Buford, Georgia man did not stop at a stop sign and turned in front of him.

Lacy was pronounced dead at the scene.

The road was shut down for several hours while crews cleaned up and investigated the crash, but it is now reopen.

OSP is continuing to investigate the accident.
