Winter Blues: Punxsutawney Phil sees his shadow

Punxsutawney Phil has seen his shadow - six more weeks of winter!

The groundhog from central Pennsylvania made his annual weather prediction this morning just before 7:30AM.

Legend has it that if Phil sees his shadow, winter will hang around for another six weeks. If not, spring is on its way.

Thousands of people witnessed the furry creature's prognostication on Gobbler's Knob. The tiny hill in Punxsutawney is about 65 miles northeast of Pittsburgh.
