Teen protects mom from rapist boyfriend

19 Action News has new details on a shocking story of a son protecting his mother from being raped.

It happened in Huron County in a home on Wenz Road. Police say the 14-year old, stabbed his mother's 31-year old boyfriend.

Police say 6'4", 200 lb Nathan Hindle lived in the home with the woman he attacked and her 14 year-old son.  To stop Hindle from attacking his mother, cops say the teen grabbed a buck knife and stabbed Hindle three times.

Hindle is being held on $5,000 bond on an attempted rape charge.

The 14 year-old most likely will not be charged.
