Hazmat call in east Toledo causes valve shutoff

TOLEDO, OH (WTOL) - Hazmat crews were called to east Toledo early Friday to deal with steam coming from a train tanker.

It happened at the Transflo terminal on Miami and Oakdale.

When Fire crews arrived on scene, steam was coming from the tanker that had oil in it. They called in hazmat crews and Transflo to investigate the situation.

Once officials from the company showed up, they determined it was just an open valve causing the steam. That valve was shut off.

No one was hurt.
