69-year-old man charged with raping 5-year-old girl

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

An eastside man is facing charges after police say he raped a 5-year-old girl.

Steve Haire, 69, is charged with one count of rape.

According to Hamilton County court documents, Haire was arrested Thursday for raping a 5-year-old girl last week.

Court documents did not indicate how Haire knew the girl.

He is being held at the Hamilton County Detention Center.
