Akron man convicted of murder

AKRON, OH (WOIO) -

Summit County Prosecutor Sherri Bevan Walsh announced that late Tuesday, after less than an hour of deliberations, a jury found Terrence Minor guilty of Aggravated Murder.

On September 18th, Minor drove to Day Street in Akron with the intent of fighting his girlfriend's brother. When Minor got to Day Street, he fired a gun over the roof of his car toward another brother of his girlfriend, Demetrion Wilson, striking him in the chest and killing him. Then Minor and two unknown male accomplices drove away. Minor was found by police hiding under a bed in Cleveland.

Minor will be sentenced on March 7th.
