MEDINA COUNTY, OH (WOIO) -

The toddler struck by a truck Monday afternoon has died.

2-year-old Sophia Miller was taken by LifeFlight to the hospital after she was struck in a driveway on Jesse Lane in Homerville.

Deputies say a teenager was dropping someone off at the house, and while pulling into the driveway, he ran over the little girl with his pick-up truck.

The child died at the hospital Tuesday morning.

No charges have been filed against the teen driver at this time. Police are investigating this as an accident.
